ok 1st, food!!!!
- sos tiram + kicap manis - memang x penah jumpe kat sini. kicap masin jumpe, tapi mahai nak mampoih. ade org claim diorg bli sos tiram kat sini. i bet its expensive T_T
- rempah ratus (kayu manis, bunga cengkih etc.)
- perencah2 semua tu la, kari, kurma, tomyam, sup bunjut, cili baba's ke. very useful la utk students.
(korang jangan ingat ade orang nak tolong masak utk korang kat sini ehhhhhhh.. dream on......) - milo~!! sini takde milo.. mende lain cam hot choc ke nescafe ade je.. macam2 jenis ade.
- kunyit, halia, serai (optional, tapi kalu nk bawak senang sket, kat sini ade je org tanam+jual serai, not the egyptian, but m'sian student kt cairo..erk..)
- santan!! sini mahai. so bawak la yg dalam serbuk tu. and cili kering kat sini tak se-best cam m'sia nye. kalau nak masakan best, bawak ler ye...
- ikan bilis, ikan kering, udang kering (memang tak penah nmpk ar kat sini.....)
- asam jawa, asam keping etc.
- International books such as Guyton & Hall or Snell semua boleh beli kat bookfair kat sini. (eventho it's held masa winter break, but its worth it la. harga boleh dapat lagi murah kt sini..)
- each uni. ade department books sendiri, produced by the doctors/profs kat sini.. sangat best sebab padat n ringkas dgn matlamat utk meringankan beban students.
- stationaries xyah bawak... semua dah ada kat sini.
- i think its a must. for me la. (ade je sorang kakak tu takde laptop masa 1st sem dia kat sini tapi masa exam 1st sem dia dapat top 10!!) i mean the med students cam perlu kot laptop. kalau yg bakal masuk Mansoura-Manchester tu, cam SANGAT memerlukan kot.
CLOTHINGS!!! (and YES Egypt has 4 seasons!!!! but no snow ar.)
- untuk winter, tak payah beli kat m'sia. sini banyak baju winter yg lawa and affordable (kalau terer carik ar. kalu x reti, pndai2 la..........)
- suggested that just bawak one sweater. in case la.
- then selebihnye ikut suka korang la.
- Kat Mansoura dah ada HSBC (thank God), so boleh la buka account kt m'sia siap2. any card yang boleh cucuk kat HSBC ar. cam Maybank boleh je.
- nak bawak cash? RM here no use. takleh nak tukar pon. so bawak la either USD ke Euro etc.
sebenarnya kat sini ramai je parents tolong postkan barang (well u'll never know when u run outta ikan bilis and u freak out rite??) so ble je ..
so u people have 2-3months to prepare right? keh3. >:)

mir, sos tiram bleh dapat kat carrefour, kicap pun sama gak. kayu manis, jintan, cengkih sume ada kat wekalah. asam2 ada kat souq, kelapa mahal eh? hmm boleh la tahan.. hehe

bkn kelape mahal. kat wikalah ade gak klape, tp satu hal nk kena perah semua tu. so for me lg senang kot bawak yg paket serbuk tu.
and carrefour?? uuuuuu mansoura xde carrefour ler.......sos tiram msia mesti lg murah...~
